The Joan of Arc Vacation Rental
735 Oregon Street ( Highway 101 )
P.O. Box 1264
Port Orford, Oregon
97465
This charming vacation home is steeped in local history, as it
was partially constructed with lumber and other fixtures that
were salvaged from the Joan of Arc steamship after it crashed
into the Northwest Rock and drifted into Port Orford where it
came aground in November of 1920.

"The Joan" offers visitors a step back in time, to a period
when life was slower paced and families spent time playing
games, reading, and sometimes sharing their love for music
around the 1918 upright grand piano.

Currently, this cozy four bedroom home with historic pictures
featured throughout is open for tours and tea by appointment
and donation.

Two fully furnished cottage units just behind the main home
offer boutique accommodations for your visit to the oldest
town site on the Oregon Coast.

Restaurants, shopping, movies, the beach and a spectacular
ocean viewpoint are within walking distance.
